TotoTab / FAQFAQ

Clear answers before a school starts.

A short guide to who TotoTab is for, what the launch price includes, how roles work, and where AI fits.

Getting started

Who is TotoTab for?

Schools that want learner records, fees, classes, parents, setup, and staff workflows to operate from one calm place.

What does KES 18,000 include?

The launch batch covers the core school operating system for up to 300 active learners, including setup, learner records, classes, finance, and parent portal foundations.

How does setup work?

The school creates its profile, confirms the launch plan, imports learners, reviews modules, then invites families into the right flows.

Roles and access

Can teachers and parents use it separately?

Yes. TotoTab is role-aware, so teachers, parents, finance, admins, and setup teams each get a focused workspace.

Can teachers see finance data?

No. TotoTab is designed around permission scopes, so each team sees the workspace and records they should act on.

Finance and parents

What happens if parents do not use the portal?

The school can still maintain balances, promises, receipts, contacts, and reminders internally while parent adoption grows.

Can we start with finance only?

The best launch keeps the learner record and core setup in place first, then finance can become the first active operating workflow.

AI

Is AI optional?

Yes. TotoTab AI supports school work when enabled, but the core operating system still works around records, finance, classes, and communication.

What does AI do inside TotoTab?

It helps staff draft lessons, quizzes, report comments, family notes, and admin summaries while keeping people in review.

The TotoTab dream

Less chasing records. More care around every child.
